Arrival at the Airport
When you disembark at the plane, you will be briefed and transported to Kampala, check in at Kampala Serena Hotel/ Humurah Hotel/ Holiday Express. Uganda Tourism If your flight land in the morning, you will have to transform money to Uganda currency and the go for a city tour, trip to the historical places, worship places, markets and local entertainment by Ndere troupe performers. Go back to the hotel for overnight (BB).
MBALE
Have breakfast and proceed to Mbale, (its approximately 3- 4hrs drive from Kampala), enroute, there will be many things to learn about the indigenous and their way of leaving in these areas. You will reach in Mbale town; take lunch at Mbale Resort Hotel. Spend the rest of the afternoon site seeing plus touring the Abayudaya community.(Here we can make arrangements for dinner and over night with Abayudaya community homes if you so wish otherwise,Tanzania Safaris you will go back to Mbale Resort Hotel/ Wash and Wills Hotel/ Mt Elgon Hotel for your dinner and over night.(FB)
CIRCUMCISION CEREMONY VIEWING
You will be transported to the village where circumcision is likely to take place if it’s an even year so that you watch the local circumcision for the Bagishu tribe of Uganda. Have lunch in the classy restaurants around and then in the late afternoon, you will tour a couple of schools in this area. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 4: TO JINJA
Leave for Jinja, the on the journey you will have a chance to see the lovely scenery of eastern Uganda with various local and foreign individuals, architecture styles and cultures. Take lunch and then tour the source of the famous Nile – the longest river in Africa as ventured by Speke in the ancient days. Then the Bujagali falls,Rwanda Travel the traditional myths attributed to these areas are interesting and stunning! Dinner and over night at Jinja Nile Resort or Gately on the Nile/ Kingfisher resort.
CHIMPANZEE TRACKING
Have some breakfast and then gather at Kanyankyu tourist centre for a morning Chimpanzee trek at Kibale Forest. Kibale National Park is a home for over than 10 primate species, which include black & white colobus monkeys,Gorilla Safaris red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys the list is endless. Take lunch and then proceed to a swamp walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary a locally owned swamp under Kibale Association for Rural and Environmental organization formed in 1992 with an objective of achieving social and economic development for the indigenous people. Your guide will provide detailed information as the walk goes on. This area harbors over 137 bird species including the Snowy Headed Robin Cat, Emerald Cuckoo, Black and White Casqued Hornbill and a variety of Weavers, Warblers, Greenbuls and Sunbirds.South Africa Tours You will also have a view plenty of butterflies and the exceptional flora such as wild palms, polita figs and the dominant papyrus. Go back to the lodge for dinner and over night.
